Guest cannot register her data
You are responsible for ensuring all guests are registered. If a guest cannot register their own data, you must collect it from them and submit it yourself. You have a strict 24-hour deadline from their arrival to do so.
You are the "obligated party" responsible for ensuring all guests are registered, not your guest. This means that if your guest is unable to register their own data, you must collect the required information from them and submit it to SES.Hospedajes yourself (Real Decreto 933/2021, article 2.1).
The law requires you to report the guests within 24 hours of their arrival (Real Decreto 933/2021, article 3.1). Since your guest arrives in 9 days, you have time to gather the information and prepare for submission. You can submit guest data manually on the government website, use software, or a managed service. You can find more details on these options at [/guest-registration/how-to-register/].
The information you must collect includes their full name, sex, date of birth, nationality, type and number of identification document, home address, phone number, and email address. You do not need a photocopy of their passport or a photograph of them. More details on what information is required can be found at [/guest-registration/what-information-is-required/].
If the issue is with your guest's ability to use a digital certificate or AutoFirma, remember that these are tools for your submission, not necessarily for your guest's. Your guest simply needs to provide you with their details. If you are experiencing issues with your own digital certificate or AutoFirma, you might find help at [/digital-certificates/autofirma-problems/].
It is crucial to ensure this registration happens. Not filing at all, or failing to keep a register, is considered a serious offence and can lead to significant fines. You can learn more about the penalties at [/ses-hospedajes/penalties/].
